Benefits of In-Home Pet Sitting

Benefits of In-Home Pet Sitting Services

There are numerous benefits to using a professional pet sitter.  Each day you are away, Critter Sitters will visit your home to feed, care for, play with and provide customized routines set forth by you for your home and pets, including dog walks and pet sitting. Our dog walkers service all of Lexington.

More than 63% of all households in the U.S. have some kind of pet.  There are an estimated 169 million cats and dogs alone, not to mention other types of pets.  According to the American Humane Society, these pets are happiest when they're at home, surrounded by familiar sights, sounds and smells.

Our Sitters are insured, bonded, undergo criminal background checks and are employees, not independent contractors. Each sitter (at 90 days of employment) complete a Pet CPR and First Aid Certification and complete a 1-month training program.  Every Sitter is GPS tracked, signs a confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement and provides proof of service delivery with real time reports at each visit, accompanied with photos, a time stamp and GPS tracking of our visit, and an app that puts the client in control of the deliverables to pet pets routines.

As a company, we provide a service policy agreement needed to enter our client homes, provide pet care, release of veterinary care in cases of emergency or illness, a confidentiality agreement, and the full terms of services. Services agreements are electronically accessible prior to the new client consultation.  During the initial consultation, Clients walk us through the house and pet routines with introductions and meet and greets, and we walk our clients through the Critter Sitter policies and procedures. Our services provide peace of mind and help our Clients to be relaxed and feel less guilty when away. Our Client pets receive a customized routine set by their human, maintaining each pets feeding, exercise and medical routines along with individual love and attention.

According to experts:
