Pets in my life or my pets or childhood pets:
Tucker is my special boy, hes my ride or die always stuck to my side. I got him from a lady who was giving away an accident litter. He was 6 weeks old and a rolley polley fluff ball!! He is a Golden Retriever with Aussie mix and became a tripod a few months before his first Birthday!
Gyda she is my purebred Mutt and Half weasel girl. When she was a 6 month old puppy she had wandered onto a German Shepherd Farm and she just didn't belong there. The farm owner didn't want to take her to the shelter and had not heard from possible owners so he gave her to me for free and we've been together since. I love her so much she is always willing to please and do whatever it is you want. She has the sweetest and most outgoing personality ever. She also has an obsession over balls. You will never not find her with a ball in her mouth, heck, she sleeps with them in her mouth and I'm sure she dreams about them too.
Tumbleweed is my little feline friend, he is so small for his age he still looks like a kitten and probably forever will. My neighbor rescued him, his siblings, and mother from my local animal shelter. I kept Tumbleweed he was the runt of the litter and terrified of the world. He always wants to be loved and held, such a sweet man. I love it when he wrestles with his best dog friend Tucker.
What I enjoy most about being a pet sitter/dog walker:
I love just getting to hang out with all kinds of dogs, get outside, get exercise and help them thrive!
My funniest pet moment:
One of our Daily Dog Walk clients is a great dane and he always talks back to me when I tell him to 'Sit.' It never fails to make me laugh!
What do animals teach us:
Patience and unconditional love.
Experience with "special needs" pets:
Tucker, my own dog, has three legs. He is a tripod! I have also cared for a friend's dog who suffered from seizures and had cancer.
